The Micro-Dot Valve repeatedly dispenses dots 10 mil or smaller. The rotation of the auger is precisely controlled by a brushless DC motor with an encoder that can be programmed with specific dispense parameters. The encoder provides more than 57,000 counts per 360 degrees turn of the auger, thereby providing the precision control required for micro volume dispensing.
The Micro-Dot Valve is available in multiple cartridge styles to accommodate three different needle styles: floating cartridge for footed needles; fixed cartridge for non-footed needles; and a Luer-Lok style cartridge for disposable Luer-Lok needles. Cartridge and needle can be easily extracted and stored together overnight. The cartridge and auger in the valve are the only wetted parts that require cleaning.
