The GPD Global MiniMax II is a compact, high-accuracy, fluid dispense system designed for today’s advanced heated applications. The frame is molded from “liquid rock” which gives the system a stable platform for accurate, reliable, high-speed, and long term production.
The MiniMax II is the single valve version of our MicroMax II heated platform. This configuration caters to heated applications requiring a single valve or material such as underfill. The system may have up to three heated zones, each capable of handling a substrate up to 348 mm x 305 mm (13.7” x 12”). Each zone has a lifter plate to accommodate custom, heated, vacuum fixtures. Custom fixtures improve heating efficiency and uniformity as all parts of a pallet, not just the flat surface, are contacted for heat transfer.
Innovative camera illumination called "Full View" improves die alignment and reliability. Multi-colored dies can now be found with a single light source. Full View incorporates on-axis illumination and multi-zone dark-field light. Any combination of the illumination source may be used.
Other process optimizing features of the MAX II Series include an optimized transport system with soft touch, dual speed motion; an over-temperature sensor at the pre-heat station; non-contact laser surface sensing, and Taper-Lock mounting hardware. These features, coupled with the host of standard MAX Series features such as Automatic XYZ calibration (no operator intervention required), needle and nozzle cleaners, computer-controlled syringe air pressure, Contour Mapping, and FLOware operating software, make the MiniMax II a strong production performer.
