A laser surface sensor is vital in the prevention of product contamination, plus it can decrease processing time. The laser surface sensor locates the substrate surface using a reflected laser light and is able to register the surface in less than 0.5 seconds.
Use of a laser surface sensor is recommended with the MAX II Series.
